Games Gala Goal (BS)

This is the last goal listed for the beginning of World Games edition for Bakery Story. This one has 3 sets of steps an the end result is the decor item.

Games Gala goal requirements:
  • Have 1 Healthy Sweets Machine (costs 25,000 Coins and it is constructable so you have to build it for it to count for this goal), can skip for 5 Gems *** Don't skip this requirement because I can pretty much guarantee that some other goal down the line is going to require you to cook foods from this machine.***
  • Have 4 Hula Hoop Statues (costs 32,000 Coins each, so it takes a total of 128,000 Coins to buy them, plus they are constructables so you have to build them for it to count for this goal), can skip for 20 Gems.
  • Obtain 15 Judges Placards, you must ask your neighbors for these, can skip for 75 Gems.
Reward for completing this step:
2,150 Coins and 50 Gems

Once this goal is complete, the following screen appears:

Phelps Helps Goal (BS)

Here are the details for the first step in the Phelps Helps goal. This goal is going to require some gem usage because some of the decor items require gems to purchase (and you have the option of skipping that goal requirement but it also uses gems). This goal has 4 different steps, each having multiple requirements. The end result is this fountain decor item.

Phelps Helps Step 1 Requirements:
  • Have 4 Water Tables (costs 15,000 Coins each, so that is 60,000 Coins total), can skip for 20 Gems.
  • Have 4 Water Chairs (costs 3 Gems each, so that is 12 Gems total), can skip for 20 Gems.
  • Have 1 Pool Counter (costs 10 Gems each, so that is 10 Gems total), can skip for 5 Gems.
So if you pay for the Water Chairs for 12 Gems total, plus skip purchasing the Pool Counter for 5 Gems, then this step costs at minimum 17 Gems!! OUCH! I happen to really like the water chairs so I am going to go ahead and purchase them. I am trying to make some recipes now so that I can get more gems! EEK!

Reward for completing this step:
2,150 Coins and 50 XP

Tracking Tastes requirements:
  • Serve 20 Podium Cakes (this is locked by goal and you have to complete a different set of goals in order to unlock this recipe), each recipe takes ???hours, can skip for 20 Gems.
  • Have 1 Shot Put Cart (costs 9,000 Coins & is constructable so you have to build this), can skip for 5 Gems.
  • Have 4 Hurdle Dividers (another goal says have 5, and they count towards both goal), costs 4,000 Coins each, can skip for 20 Gems.

Bakery Story: World Games Edition is HERE!

I am so excited because the World Games Edition of Bakery Story just came out!!! The World Games Edition is a separate download in the app store of whatever device you have. It has been available for a few days for the Droids, but it JUST came out on the Apple devices so I am just now getting it.  I am going to be covering all the goal details and new World Games items as I get them. If you want to chit chat about this new edition, feel free to leave me some comments on any of the posts and I will try to check in more often.  I have created a section on the Bakery Story Guide tab up at the top of the blog, and I will put all the new World Edition info in that section.

If you have never played one of the special editions, let me tell you a little about how it works:
  • All your data for the game is saved on the game servers and NOT on your device, so when you install a new edition, your game progress & items and such just appear on the new edition just like they appear on your old edition. You can even delete the regular app when you download the new one.
  • With a new edition, a bunch of goals appear and there are items that are "locked by goal". You have to complete the steps in the goal to unlock those items (either decor items or recipes). There is NO other way to unlock these items. You must complete the steps in the goals to unlock the items.
  • The special editions are only for a LIMITED TIME. They only stick around for a month or two and then all the goals are removed, so you've got to work quickly to unlock everything that you want (I try to complete everything!).

If this new World Edition is anything like the the Christmas or Valentine's edition, then the new recipes that are GIVEN to you will only be available for a limited time. Then the recipes you UNLOCK BY GOAL, you will get to keep forever (even after this edition is over & you go back to the regular edition).

In the app store, I just searched for teamlava and found the new edition:
