Decor Unlocked: Santa's Grotto (BS)

I was finally able to complete the Rudolph goal, which in turn completed the Assemble the Reindeer goal. The Assemble the Reindeer goal unlocked the new Santa's Grotto decor item (picture coming soon! my hubby is playing with my iPhone right now so I can't add the photo yet lol).

This new decor item is BIG! It takes up 9 squares/tiles in the bakery. Like most other locked by decor items, you get one decor item free & then you have to pay for additional ones with Gems. After the first free one, the Santa's Grotto costs 32 Gems each.

If you can't find the decor item under the design/inventory screen, just keep scrolling to the end. Mine appeared at almost the last screen, but before my unlocked decor items from the Halloween Edition.

Rudolph Goal (BS)

This goal is going to take a LONG time to complete. This goal appears after the Blitzen goal is completed for the Christmas content for Bakery Story. It takes lots of cooking and lots of requests from neighbors. Even for the folks with tons of neighbors, this goal takes 2 days to complete because you only get like 20 requests answered each day.

Rudolph Goal requirements:
Serve 40 Cherry Muffins ( a 12 hour recipe on the regular ovens), can skip for 80 Gems.
Ask 40 Friends to check Reindeer GPS (must ask your friends and have them answer your request), can skip for 80 Gems.
Buy 12 Rudolph Floor Tiles (cost 12,000 Coins each), can skip for 48 Gems.

Reward for completing this goal:
3,160 Coins and 90 XP

Once the Rudolf goal is complete, the Assemble the Reindeer goal autocompletes and the Christmas goals are finished!

Blitzen Goal (BS)

This goal appears for Bakery Story christmas content after the Donner goal is completed. This goal requires the use of GEMS! AHHH! Only 8 Gems, but still. I think it totally stinks when goals require Gems.

Blitxen Goal requirements:
Serve 30 Well Done Toasts (an 8 hour recipe on the regular ovens), can skip for 90 Gems.
Build a Winter Wonder Oven (have to collect the parts and finish building it for it to count towards this goal, if you already built one, it will automatically count).
Buy 8 Holiday Lights Wallpapers (1 gem each), can skip for 32 Gems.

Reward for completing this goal:
2,370 Coins and 60 XP

Donner Goal (BS)

This goal appears after the Cupid goal is completed as part of the Christmas Content for Bakery Story.

Donner goal requirements:
Serve 40 Brawny Muffins (a 4 hour recipe for the regular oven), can skip for 80 Gems.
Ask friends to gather 20 Elf Detectives (must request these from your neighbors), can skip for 60 Gems.
Pay 50,000 Coins to the Elf Detectives, can skip for 20 Gems.

Reward for completing this goal:
2,150 Coins and 50 XP

Cupid Goal (BS)

This goal appears after the Comet goal is completed. This is a new goal from the Christmas content for Bakery Story.

Cupid goal requirements:
Serve 30 Heart Toasts (a 3 hour recipe on the regular oven), can skip for 60 Gems.
Serve 15 Sparkling Cider (a 6 hour recipe on the regular drink machine), can skip for 45 Gems.
Leave 100 Tips (each tip you leave for anyone counts toward this step, so if you leave your friend 6 tips, it counts 6 times), can skip for 20 Gems.

Reward for completing this goal:
1,950 Coins and 40 XP

About Collecting the Reindeers (BS)

I was thinking in the beginning that we actually earned all of the reindeers as decor because of how the goals were set up for the new Christmas content in Bakery Story. I wasn't able to find the reindeer in the decor section as "locked by goal" items so I figured we didn't actually get decor items in order to complete the "Assemble the Reindeer" goal.

Well, it turns out that we DO actually earn the reindeer as decor items as we complete the reindeer named goals!! Unlike the other decor that we earn, these are single items that you only get ONE of. You cannot purchase additional reindeer items for gems.

Also, when you complete a reindeer goal, the decor items do NOT appear at the end of your inventory like the other decor items do. My reindeer appeared in my inventory like 5 pages in so I had to just scroll carefully until I saw them.

The reindeer decor items are super cute so it makes the goals so much more exciting, at least for me. I will post pictures of the decor on the individual goals as i complete them.

Comet Goal (BS)

This goal appears after the Vixen goal is complete.

Comet Goal Requirements:
Serve 30 Holiday Waffles (a 2 hour recipe for the regular oven), can skip for 60 Gems.
Serve 40 Chamomile Teas (a 1 hour recipe on the regular Drink Mixer), can skip for 60 Gems.
Ask Neighbors for 10 Santa Searchlights (must ask for these from your neighbors), can skip for 50 Gems.
